Pine cove

As the title suggests, conifers are the central hero in this project. Here nature and architecture embrace each other, and this union is a manifestation of respect for context.

Although it has succinct contemporary forms, thanks to the exterior finishes, the architecture fits harmoniously into the wooded area. The warm shade of the brick and its rough appearance combine with the tree stems and give uniformity to the surroundings. In this respect, we used wood for the terrace and pathways.

The merging of the two elements is supported by the other details. We ruled out framing the manicured lawn from the start and opted instead for strategically placed ferns and shrubs, the authenticity of the site being also emphasised by the massive stones inserted within the landscape. Thus, we have achieved an intimate scenery with little touches of mystery which makes a perfect idyll between man and nature.
